Week of November 3-7

We have a lot of Poke'mon fans.  This one made Poke'balls.

Many friends have requested directions on how to draw certain characters.  If we don't have the directions in one of our How To Draw books, we look them up on the computer.

We also discovered that we can use the light table to trace pictures!
Mrs. Tonkin donated a huge box of scraps and craft supplies.  Here, one student created a shark fin.
Others created pictures.
He made a jacket!  He carefully estimated how much fabric he would need and where the arm holes should go!
Another shark but this time the fin went on his head!
Spinning tops. The frames helped keep the tops on the table but many friends figured out they stop the top from spinning too soon and took away the frame.
When they put the legos together in order of the number written on them, they discovered a colour pattern.

Using legos and the blue tubs to create a story on the "grass".

Ms. Romero is reading Fairy Tales and Fables.  Princess writing was VERY popular this week!

Ms. Romero invented a new game . . . 1, 2, 3, roll.

He really liked the new game!
 So did these buddies!

 Beautiful Artwork!

Playdough Fun!

Enjoying Playing Outside!

Some friends are already making presents for Christmas, wrapping them, and giving them?

The ever popular "big lego".

Finn went to Florida and brought back this beautiful alphabet poster.  Thanks Finn!

Our beautiful scarecrows courtesy of Mrs. Tonkin's supplies!  Thanks again!
