Pastels!

Awesome writing!

Reading our morning message during a play block.

These are our "wallets".  Students earned pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters and then spent our money at a classroom store.   The books on display have been a big hit this week.  I read them once and MANY students re-read them to the class.  Also note a student is using the pointer to read the names on the wallets.  Thank you to Kelly for making a label for the board!

We explored magnets and the magnetic properties of many objects around the room.

We used pastels at the art centre.  He skillfully used his finger to blend the colours!

Reading the displayed books!

We finally got outside on Friday!

Our classroom store.
