This year has flown by! It is hard to believe it is June already! It feels like we were just welcoming in our new JK friends! It has been a great year. Ms. Romero and I constantly tell people how fortunate we feel to have such a truly nice group of children greeting us every morning. We will be savouring the next few weeks and look forward to a fun last month of school.
Today, we talked about calendars and how they help us keep track of important dates. Some students coloured in a June calendar and some even added their important dates - soccer and baseball seem to be very popular and important. For those who did not get a calendar, here are some dates to remember.
Thursday, June 4 - Last Scholastic book order due
Friday, June 5 - PA Day - NO SCHOOL for students
Tuesday, June 9 - Field Trip to Science City - 9:15-2:30
Monday, June 22 - Spirit Assembly - Kindergarten friends will be performing
Thursday, June 25 - Last day of school
