The past few days :)

  •  Don't forget tomorrow, June 5, is a PA day and students do not have school.
  • The last book order has been submitted.  Thanks again for your orders this year!
  • Also, don't forget that we have a field trip to the Science Centre on Tuesday.  Please be sure that your child has a lunch and snack that is easily carried (by your child) as we will be eating at the Science Centre that day.
  • Today, we enjoyed our last music assembly.  The grade eights treated us to a great hour of music and videos.  As always, our class was amazing!  They truly are a class to be proud of... sitting attentively and using their very best manners.  They make Ms. Romero and I very proud.  Kudos!!!!
  • While it feels like I was just posting pictures, here are a few pics of the last few days.
  • Also needed. . .  If you happen to be painting, or have access to painting supplies, we would like to create projects using un-used paint stir sticks.  We need approximately 100 so any donations are GREATLY appreciated.

Using fancy alphabet stampers!

Dramatic play with life cycle manipulatives.

Investigating eggs on leaves.

More dramatic play!

He traced a picture of the earth and then determined which
parts should be coloured blue for the water and green for the land.

They made their own desks on the carpet out of blocks!

Using Ms. Romero's phone to do research!

Playing Math games on the computer!

Creating caterpillars out of paint and the cup.

YOGA!!!  We used a book to learn about and try the poses!

And then we added foam blocks to the bridge pose.  We tried to keep as many blocks on as we could!

They can get a lot of blocks on this friend!

Building sentences using tiles.

Creating covers to our Work Window books.

So many creations!

Here we used letters and pictures used by my daughter for a
stop motion video.  She was just going to throw them out and I assured her
this class would find something to do with them.  I was right!!!  She was impressed!

Have a wonderful weekend!
